Words to the bride:

Did you really fall in love or are you just clinging to an ideal? You grew up thinking that a man would make you happy. You were taught that your life would have no meaning being single after 30. You allowed yourself to believe that the perfect wedding would ensure your status as a successful woman in society. You desperately want to be part of something, but with the decisions you make, you get distant from who you really are. You seek to find yourself, while you get lost in flowers, music and your guest’s applause. Your white veil is only the facade that covers a truth that has always been hidden deep within: You do not love that man, because you did not even learn to love yourself.
